Shipping, Damage, and Import Policy
Effective Date: November 2025
This Shipping, Damage, and Import Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made from DCMX & Tools, LLC (“DCMX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, the customer (“receiver,” “customer,” or “purchaser”) agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Returns Policy
1.1 No Returns on Custom Products
All custom or made-to-order products—including Moto Boxes, custom-cut foam, custom tool kits, or any item produced to customer specifications—are FINAL SALE.
No returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted for custom items under any circumstance.
1.2 No Returns After 2 Days on All Other Products
For all non-custom products, DCMX does not accept returns after 2 days from the confirmed delivery date.
Any return request submitted beyond 2 calendar days of delivery will be automatically denied.
Return eligibility applies only to unused, unopened items and must comply with all additional requirements outlined in this Policy.
2. Mandatory Inspection Requirement – Within 48 Hours of Delivery
The receiver must inspect all shipments within 48 hours of the carrier’s confirmed delivery date and time.
Failure to inspect the shipment and report issues within this timeframe may void eligibility for assistance, replacement, or carrier claims.
3. Damaged Shipments – Reporting & Packaging Retention
If an item arrives damaged, the receiver is required to:

Retain ALL original packaging, including the shipping box, padding, bubble wrap, paper, foam, or any other packing materials used.

Take clear photographs of:

The exterior of the box
-
All internal packaging
-
The damaged product
-

Notify DCMX & Tools, LLC within 48 hours of delivery with all supporting documentation.
DCMX cannot process damage claims, initiate carrier investigations, or offer replacements if packaging is discarded or if notice is received after the 48-hour window.
4. Missing Contents – Reporting Within 48 Hours
If any item or component is missing from the shipment, the receiver must notify DCMX within 48 hours of delivery.
Reports must include:

Order number
-
Photographs of the package and contents
-
Description of the missing item(s)
Claims submitted after 48 hours will not be eligible for replacement due to carrier claim limitations and internal verification requirements.
5. Tariffs, Duties & Import Taxes (International Orders)
For all international shipments, the receiver is solely responsible for all tariffs, import duties, VAT, customs fees, brokerage fees, and taxes assessed by the destination country.
DCMX cannot determine, estimate, or control what each government assesses as import charges.
If a receiver refuses to pay import taxes or customs fees, resulting in the shipment being held, returned, or abandoned, DCMX will not issue any refund for the order.
6. Abandoned International Packages
If a package is abandoned, destroyed, or disposed of by customs due to the receiver’s failure to pay import fees, taxes, or respond to customs requests, the customer acknowledges that:

No refund will be given.

No replacement will be provided.

DCMX bears no responsibility for customs-related confiscation or abandonment.
7. Returned Shipments – Domestic or International
If a package is returned to DCMX for any reason—including refusal of delivery, unpaid customs duties, incorrect address, or inability to receive the shipment—the receiver is responsible for:

All return shipping costs, AND
-
All re-shipping costs required to send the package to its final destination.
DCMX does not cover these costs under any circumstance.
Orders will not be re-shipped until all outstanding shipping charges are paid in full.
8. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues
DCMX ships to the exact address provided at checkout. DCMX is not responsible for delays, loss, or misdelivery due to:

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Customer relocation
-
Missing unit/apt number
-
Delivery to third-party addresses or businesses
Any associated reshipping costs are the responsibility of the receiver.
9. Acceptance of Policy
By placing an order with DCMX & Tools, LLC, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.
